About TJ's Toolbox
TJ's Toolbox is the brainchild of TJ Loftin, advocating for our youth.
Unofficially established in 2012 in Leimert Park, California, TJ expanded his lessons into a formal educational program that has been utilized in homeschool and traditional elementary through high school settings. his program has been immensely successful. He is an advisor to the Compton and Inglewood Unified School Districts. He was instrumental at making possible the reinstatement of the mechanics program at his alma mater Centennial High School and the $200 million dollar donation by community partners such as Dr. Dre and Master P to the Compton Unified School District. He maintains that the younger generations should pursue entrepreneurial opportunities within the Trades industries. There is immense legacy wealth still to be made. He made possible the partnership between the National Resource College Foundation and Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum in Compton, California. As a result, high schools and colleges across the nation have incorporated aeronautics into their programs and created direct relationships with major airlines in the hiring of pilots. His students retain the material well and immediately apply what is learned. As adults, his students have become active community leaders, following TJ's lead.
